Another beautiful morning

The sun was just rising and we could still hear the wild animals behind the campsite. Tonight we had buffalos taking a nap next to our tent and the hienas were laughing somewhere very near, all night long.

Please do not stray beyond the camp as there were lions lying there yesterday - said one of the Masai worriers.  I wondered why he was all evening like guarding us over the camp fire. Now I know.

The Serengeti is waking up, the endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers is still wet.
